Summary of activity for year 2008

All these summaries have been generated based on information provided by the VQLog program.

Overall:

As I did in the past years, in 2008 I have concentrated my activity on the 2m band and specially in EME (Moonbounce). I'm very satisfied with the performance of the 8x17 2M5WL array and it's great to be able to work single-yagi-100w stations easily via the Moon, even on random, thanks to the JT65B digital mode. I have also made some QSO on 50 MHz by Sporadic-E, but I haven't been really very active on six. The HF antenna has definitively given up after almost 25 years of being up in the tower, so I haven't been on HF at all, and I have no plans of putting up any other HF antenna in the future. I have also made my first QSO on 4 m, but with a very small station only. My goals for this year were getting to 140 DXCC, 750 grid squares and 1200 EME initials on two meters, and all were almost achieved.
