Update October 29, 2025: Aldir, PY1SAD, will be QRV again be active as 8R1TM from Guyana from October 29 to December 7, 2025. Activity will be limited to his spare time and weekends. Operations will be on 160-6m using CW, SSB, the Digital modes and the Satellites.

Update August 16, 2025:  Aldir is currently active from the National Park, Joe Vieira Park (WWFF 8RFF-0006; WW Loc. GJ06) until August 22nd. The Joe Vieira Park is located on the West Bank of Demerara in Region 3 on the former Plantation Meer Zorgen and was designated as a park in March 1982.

Update August 9, 2025:  Aldir, PY1SAD, will be QRV again as 8R1TM from Guyana  from August 14 to September 23, 2025. Activity will be limited to his spare time on all HF bands using CW, SSB, Digital modes and possibly the Satellites.

Update June 7, 2025: Aldir, PY1SAD, is QRV again as 8R1TM from Georgetown, Guyana until July 8, 2025. Activity will be on all HF bands using CW, SSB, Digital modes and the Satellite.
