In order to begin the contest season, Manolo-EA3CBH and Gabriel-EA6VQ decided to be active /P, although only on Sunday. Because at this time of the year we didn't expect big maritime tropo we choosed a QTH quite close to Palma but with an excellent take off to the central-northern part of EA and west of France.

Propagation was not the best but even so some nice QSOs were made (look at the botom of this page). Rig used was a TS-790 plus 160w on 2m and 110w on 70cm. Antennas were M2, 12 elem. (3,5 wl) on 144 MHz and 28 elem. (10wl) on 432 MHz.
