Please read carefully the following considerations:
Accessing DXMAPS using a shortcut
that contains parameters it is likely to cause you trouble. If you do
it, do it at your own risk. DXMAPS keeps your selections in cookies and you
should always navigate to
https://www.dxmaps.com without any parameter after that. If
you do so, DXMAPS will recall your selections from the last navigation
session and you don't need to do anything else.
Configuration options (Layers,
filters, etc) are kept in cookies from one session navigation to the
next, provided that your Internet browser is allowing them for the WWW.DXMAPS.COM domain and that it is not deleting them between sessions.
They can't be forced via parameters and if you access DXMAPS using
the below shortcut THEY WILL BE RESET to the default values, not to the
values of your last navigation session.
If they are not kept in your
case is simply because something (internet explorer settings, navigation
control software, antivirus...) in your PC is not allowing or is deleting the cookies
and I can't do anything for you, you will have to sort that issue yourself.
If you whish to know more about cookies and how they are used you can
read about them.
You must not have several maps open in different tabs of the Internet browser. It makes no sense that you punish the rest of users having several maps open at the same time (all updating every minute in the background). That consumes valuable resources in the server and affects the overall response time, when in fact you can only look at one map at a time. The right way to change of band or map is clicking on the band or map zone tabs of DXMAPS. That is what they are for.
The shortcut to the page you have chosen is: https://www.dxmaps.com/spots/mapg.php?Lan=E&Frec=ALH&ML=M&Map=W2LN&HF=S
You can add it to your Internet browser favourites/bookmarks to directly link to a certain page, but please make sure you have read and understood the above considerations.
