Comments: Grand Valira is the name that happens to take the river Valira after Valira waters of North and East Valira join in the town of Escaldes-Engordany (Andorra). From that place, the course of the Great Valira goes through Andorra la Vella, Santa Coloma, La Margineda, Aixovall and Sant Julia de Loria, being almost coincident with the national highway leading to Spain. Almost on the border with Spain, receives water left its main tributary, the river Runer.
