Update April 16: The team made about 8,300 QSOs during their 4-11 April operation from Kosa Dvukh Pilotov (AS-207, new one for IOTA). The log has been uploaded to Club Log and the OQRS has been enabled.
Update April 11: R207RRC, AS-207 QRT at 2000 UTC
Update April 10: Team will make QRT sometime on very late evening on Saturday (UTC). 17m antenna is up, but no propagation.
Update April 6: Now team has installed 20m 4SQ only. Wind is not strong like before and tomorrow morning (their morning) they plan to install 30m antenna and maybe 40m too. Static QRN went down and team hear better.
Update April 5: They are on 20m CW now using GP antenna. Plan is to install 4SQ on 20m and RX will impove, but big wind 20/25 m/s and very hard to work outside. Team is OK.
Update April 4 06:40: Team arrived to Vankarem. In 6-7 hours they plan to start their way to destination.
Update April 3: Team remain in Egvekinot. Next stop will be Vankarem.
Update April 1: Team has arrived to Egvekinot. Due to snow storm the road to Vankarem (next point) is closed until Friday.
While waiting for weather improvement team tested both generators. Everything works fine. Snow storm finished, team plans to start their way to Vankarem tomorrow.
Update March 29: Flight from Moscow to Anadyr was postponed until tomorrow.
Update March 27: R207RRC, AS-207 team is on schedule and will start on Sunday from Moscow to Anadyr. Stay tuned.
Alexander RA3AV, Yuri UA0KBG and Victor UA3AKO plan to be active from Kosa Dvukh Pilotov Island, AS-207NEW as R207RRC in early April 2020. This island is located in the Chuckchi Sea.
They will operate CW and SSB on 40, 30, 20, 17, 15 metres with two stations.
