Update July 13: VK9NK went QRT yesterday after approximately 6 months of operation and almost 58,000 QSOs from Norfolk Island.
Update April 18: I just made first upload to LoTW. QSOs requested as direct via OQRS Club Log were uploaded.
Please be patient – all QSOs will be uploaded when I am back home. Nobody knows when but I hope before next year…
My priority now is making QSOs with all who need Norfolk Island as ATNO. Contact confirmations will wait for some time.
Update April 15: Few days ago linear amplifier refused to cooperate. It seems “enough is enough”. From now on I will continue barefoot operation using an Icom 7200.
Update March 26: All my flights are cancelled and I have to stay on Norfolk for some time more. It gives chance to work me for those who need VK9N. On 10th April I will change QTH on the island for little cheaper – my resources are limited. I hope signals from new place will be also good enough to give few people ATNO.
Janusz, SP9FIH, will be active as VK9NK from Norfolk Island (OC-005) between January 12th and April 12th. He states, " It is my tribute to Jim Smith, VK9NS, who lived and operated from there for years. According to last internet poll VK9N is 85th most wanted entity." Activity will be on 160-10 meters using SSB, RTTY and FT8. Suggested frequencies are:
SSB - 7095, 14195, 18140, 21195, 24940 and 28420 kHz
RTTY - 1845, 3569, 7045, 10145, 14095, 18095, 21095, 24920 and 28095 kHz

Equipment will be an IC-7200 and Expert 1.3K-FA into a Spiderbeam and verticals. QSL via SP9FIH or ClubLog's OQRS.
