Update June 13: Part of the 3D2CR log already on Club Log. If you can’t find some of the QSO’s just don’t worry. We have some small issues with ADIF files. Work in progress.

We already saw over 100 Buro requests! Keep in mind, we will not answer any Club Log Buro OQRS request, even after 6 months or even 2 years. We are not members of any of them and we are not willing to be part of it.

OQRS and LoTW will be confirmed only after Club Log OQRS.

More informatin about 3D2CR QSL policy at the  Rebel DX Group Web page

Update June 7: Plans are at this time to pull up anchor on the 11th. Of course we are a dynamic DXpedition so times and dates can (and most probably will) change. We do not want to run ourselves into the ground at stop #1 when we still have several more stops in the Pacific planned.

More info at the Rebel DX Group Web page

Update Jun 3: Over 5K QSO’s in the log as of 0300Z (3 June, 2019). Problems with satellite beacon preventing log uploads at this time. Issue being worked on during breaks. The Rebel catamaran is anchored almost a mile (through coral) from team radio operations.

Using Chinese shipwreck San Sheng No.168 for shade (which now sits in middle of reef). No “green” on the reef anywhere. February cyclone wiped reef clean.

Three person Rebel Team is in good spirits (Dom, Taddy and Tack).

Update Jun 3: It was also reported on May 25th, that this is "first of 4 destinations in the Pacific." Their catamaran is anchored 500m offshore and a video was posted on YouTube:

Activity has been on 40/30/20/17 meters using CW, SSB and FT8.

Wayne, N0UN, posted the following on June 1st, the Rebel DX Group Web page: 3D2CR Conway Reef On The Air! --

The Rebels have broken through the weather jinx that’s been following us around for months and months – 3D2CR Conway Reef is on the air!

We made it half way there before the Rebel catamaran and crew got turned around by the weather last week, but we’re persistent (to say the least) and that persistence has paid off.

If you wish, send your recordings to (admin@rebeldxgroup.com) and before the first stop of our Pacific DXpedition is over we’ll post them on this site for all to hear.

QSL info and the ClubLog online log links are posted here:

See you in the pileups!

It is also recommended to watch both the 3D2CR (Conway Reef) and T33T (Banaba Island) on the QRZ.com Web pages and the Rebel DX Groups FaceBook page for updates as well as the 3Z9DX tracker:

Update Jun 1: They are QRV. First signals heard a about 0800z on 40m CW

Update May 31: At 22:00Z the team were approx 30nm north east of Conway Reef.

Update May 30: 3D2CR team again on their way to Conway Reef.

Update May 25: Few days ago the team departed for Conway Reef, however the weather became really bad at sea and they had to return to Nadi, Fiji. Following info from Graham VK3GA/3D2: "WE HIT A MASSIVE STORM ON THURSDAY NIGHT AROUND 21:30Z. WINDS WERE PEAKING AT 80KM/H AND WAVES OVER 10M. WE WERE 250KM’S FROM LAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN WITH NO-WHERE TO HIDE, SO THE DECISION TO RETURN TO FIJI WAS EASY TO MAKE. IT STILL TOOK US 2 DAYS TO GET HOME".

Update May 20: Team member Graham, VK3GA reports “there is unseasonal weather at the moment, including tropical depressions which are unusual at this time of year. This is delaying our departure”.

Update May 19: Team on their way to Conway Reef in the next couple of days. QRX for more.

Update May 12: Dom, 3Z9DX returns to Fiji and also recently active as E51DOM/MM on the ANZA net. Keep an eye on 3D2CR page on QRZ.com for updates + 3Z9DX tracker. A reminder that T33T (Banaba) is also planned by “Rebel DX Group”.

Update May 17, 2018: Dom, 3Z9DX informs that the planned 3D2CR DXpedition is now postponed.Update May,12: Rebel team has announced that is going to Conway Reef next week.

3D2CR Conway Reef. Radio Amateurs members of Rebel DX Group and 3D2AG will be active as 3D2CR from Conway Reef, IOTA OC - 112, May - June 2018. They will operate on HF Bands. QSL via ClubLog OQRS, LOTW. More information soon.
