Update August 11, 2026: I need to check out of my current hotel on August 13th. While I've posted photos of the antenna on this website, this fortunate environment will only be available until 8:00 AM local time on the 13th. I haven't decided on my next hotel yet, but I wanted to let you know in advance that it might be in a less favorable location or even unusable.

Update August 3, 2026:   Due to a three-day delay in my arrival in Tuvalu, I was unable to secure the accommodation I had originally planned. Consequently, the start of operations was postponed by an additional day, with operations finally commencing at 21:59 local time.

Update August 1, 2026:  Operations were scheduled to begin on July 30, 2026. However, due to adverse weather conditions, our flight reached Tuvaluan airspace but was unable to land and was forced to return to Fiji.

The flight has now been rescheduled for August 2.

I will be active from Funafuti, Tuvalu as T2JK again during July 30th - August 7th, 2026. Activity will be on 80-6m; on weekdays I will be active after 5pm Tuvalu time and all day during the weekend of my stay.

If the stay is extended, it may be possible to continue operations until August 14th.

The flight on Thursday July 30th will arrive in Funafuti around noon, so operations may begin around 3pm local time.
