A group of German and Austrian operators will be QRV from the Shetland Islands (IOTA EU-012), Scotland on August 4-14, 2025.

Operators mentioned are Olaf/DJ7TO, Heye/DJ9RR, Frank/DL1KWK, Heiko/DL1RTL, Georg/DL4SVA, Lutz/DL5KUA and Stefan/OE8TIR.

The team will take part in the WAE DX CW Contest (August 9-10th) under the callsign GM4S.

Before and after the contest, operators will use their personal callsigns and sign MM/homecalls in accordance with CEPT. Activity will be on various HF bands and the QO-100 satellite. This operation will qualify for the WAE, European Diploma, EU DX Diploma, WAB, VUCC and IOTA awards. There will be some SOTA activities from the Shetlands.
