Update December 15, 2023: They went QRT at 15:30z today with about 5600 QSO in the log in spite of having equipment failure, broken antenna and bad weather. 

Update December 14, 2023: There’s currently a bad WX storm where the KL7RRC guys are located. This means they will likely stay at least another night. Will know for sure in a few hours time. One of antennas has broken, so they now run only 20m and up.

Update December 14, 2023: Just a few hours left. Will QRT around 16:00z today. It’s been a fun experience. We carved out few hours to conduct a presentation about ham radio at the local school. Kids had a blast! Also, Alex KL5CX is a pilot of major airline and he answered a lot of questions, brought some model planes, kids assembled, decorated and flew them!

Update December 4, 2023: KL7RRC operations from NA-028 may start earlier than expected due to flight time changes caused by bad weather forecast for later next week. Team will now leave Anchorage on Monday (December 4). No date changes to the return flight meaning QRV for potentially two extra days – look for first signals sometime on December 5.

A Russian Robinson DXpedition to St Paul Island (Pribilof Islands) NA-028 will take place during December 7-15, 2023.
