Update August 2, 2026:  Here's hoping the warm St, Kitts WX will help with my two disc back surgery last month.   I will again be operating from our Calypso Bay, St. Kitts, West Indies home, located 300 feet from the Caribbean Sea, from August 24 - 31, and active on 6-160m, FT8 and SSB. Update June 10, 2026: Operation cancelled.

John, W5JON, will be QRV again as V47JA from his Calypso Bay, St. Kitts, West Indies vacation home, located 200 feet from the Caribbean Sea, on June 11-22, 2026. Activity will be on 160-6 meters (incl. 60m) using SSB and FT8. Equipment is a Yaesu FT3000D and an Elecraft KPA500 Amplifier.

John states his antennas are a Mosley Mini32A 10/15/20m, 33' Vertical 10-40m, 35' Top Loaded 80m Vertical, 160m Vertical and 6m 5 element Yagi.
