Information

Update October 18: QRV on 16-28 November, CQ WW DX CW Contest included.  Outside the contest they will be QRV on  160-10 metres SSB, CW and FT8; additionally, they will also  operate  JT65 EME on 6 and 2 metres as  5H3EME,  including participation  in  the ARRL EME Contest on  16-17 November.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS;  the logs will be uploaded to LoTW in 6 months after the DXpedition

Update September 16: From W7GJ: "I just heard from Alex, K2BB, and he has received the loaner 6M8GJ from the CY9C DXpedition, and will be using it during their 6m EME DXpedition during the second half of November. They plan to have at least a kw output on 6m.

Their grid locator will be KI93rv. Their QTH is next to the beach on the eastern shore of Zanzibar, 1/2 mile north of the seaside village of Marumbi. They will have a clear over-water shot during their moonrise, which should provide them great ground gain for contacts with eastern and northern EU moonrise, as well as with elevated JA stations. Their moonset ground gain is not so certain at this point, but fortunately they also will have elevation, so they should be able to cover most NA moonrises.

They also will be operating 2m EME at the same time."

Alex K2BB, Pavel UU0JR + others will be active from Zanzibar (IOTA AF-032) as 5H3EME & 5H3UA during November 15-30, 2019 (approx). QRV on HF/VHF CW/SSB/Digi/EME. Participation in CQWW DX CW contest. EME activity on 50-144 and possibly 430MHz.

More info and website soon.
