Information

Update March 10, 2025: JG8NQJ/JD1 “Take”  left Minami Torishima on March 7, 2025.
The next work to Minami Torishima will be for two months from April 17, 2025.


Update January 17, 2025: JG8NQJ/JD1 "Take" said the following:

End of January : 10m antenna to be changed to 12m antenna (QRT on 10m, QRV on 12m).
End of January or beginning of February : QRV to 20m.


Update January 16, 2025: Take, JG8NQJ will be QRV again as JG8NQJ/JD1 from Marcus Island, OC-073, Minami Torishima, until Mid March 2025.
He will be active on HF Bands CW, FT8, mainly on 18 and 21 Mhz.

After his September operation (QRT on the 18th), Take, JG8NQJ, will once again be active as JG8NQJ/JD1 from Marcus Island, Minami Torishima (OC-073, JCG 10007), sometime in mid-November 2024 for possibly 3 months. He is usually there to work on the island's weather station. Activity will be limited to his spare time.

Usually he will be mainly on 17 meters, but may try 40/30 meters and will also be on 20/15/12/10/6 meters using CW (possibly RTTY), with an Yaesu FT-450M with 50w into 2 element  HB9CV (17/15m) or a dipole (12m).
