Join us for an exciting DXpedition to the stunning Faroe Islands from June 1 to June 10, 2025! Our team will be active under the callsigns OY6FRA, OY6A, OY/W9MK, and OY/K4LT.

We’ll be operating on 6 through 160 meters, utilizing FT8/FT4, SSB, and CW modes to connect with hams worldwide. Additionally, we’re thrilled to participate in the ARRL Digital Contest using the callsign OY6A, adding an extra layer of excitement to our adventure. We will be using, at some of the stations,100W and portable type antennas, so please be patient and understand our operating situation.

QSL information: Please send your cards via WB2REM. OQRS (QSL and LoTW) through ClubLog, QRZ and SASE. All other QSO\'s will be uploaded to LoTW 6 months after completion of the Dxpedition. Jim/WB2REM (Team Leader), Mike/W9MK (Co-Leader), John/K4LT, Bill/W2WCM, Carol/G6TFL/K5TFL, Bruce/K3BAB and Krish/W4VKU will be active as OY6A from the Faroe Islands (EU-018) on June 1-10, 2025.

In addition to OY6A, some of the operators have also obtained a private license to work from SOTA/POTA references (OY/W9MK and OY/K4LT).

Activity will be on 160-6m, including 60m, using CW, SSB and FT8 (FH). Suggested frequencies are:

 SSB - 3785, 7163/7225, 14210/14240, 18130, 21285/21350, 24955 and 28485
