Update February 27, 2024: DX-World publishes the following information: PJ7PF & PJ7PH are now QRT with about 4300 combined QSOs. They were able to adjust their antenna setup over the weekend and could enjoy great pileups, says Fabian, DM7HB (PJ7PH). QSLs can be requested via Club Log OQRS. The complete log will be uploaded to LoTW once they check everything is in order and are back home (no earlier than 1st of April). Fabian will continue his vacation via sailboat to the Azores. He may able to use his QRP radio and try to be active as DM7HB/MM, but since he’s part of a small crew is not sure how much time he can actually spend on the radio
Update February 20, 2024: Fabian and Paul managed to get their own Sint Maarten callsigns, PJ7PF (DM2PF) and PJ7PH (DM7HB). QRV on Feb 19-28, 2024.
QSL via LoTW and home callsigns.
DX-World publishes the following information from Fabian, DM7HB:
After finishing university, my friend Paul DM2PF and myself DM7HB will go on holiday. One stop will be Sint Maarten in the Caribbean PJ7. There we’ll do a ‘DX-Holiday’ and we’ll bring a 100W radio and a triple leg ground-plane antenna for 10/15/20m. We will be there from the 15th to the 28th of February. We’ll try to get a proper PJ7 license but maybe we will just be active using the CEPT license as PJ7/DM7HG and PJ7/DM2PF respectively.
