Update January 31, 2024: Looking for young radio operators for our next DXpedition!
Are you a radio enthusiast and have always dreamed of participating in a real dxpedition?
Our team is getting ready for the next DXpedition, an 'adventure in a remote location and in a setting that is sure to be exciting.
Thanks to the generous support of the major foundations and clubs, we are looking for young hamradio operators who wish to embark on a unique and highly formative experience.
Requirements:
- Passionate about radio and technology
- Age between 18 and 30 years old
- Working knowledge and practice in cw
- Be hungry of radio and dx
- Knowledge of the English language
- Willingness to travel and passport in hand
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Good health

Update January 24, 2024: Somaliland is one of the 5 states that make up the de-facto country called Somalia. A difficult territory that has never been spared from war and famine.

An exciting and complicated DXpedition, in a turbulent territory, and not always easy to activate.

According to Club Log rankings, Somalia ranks 53rd on the most wanted List, and with various requests on digital modes, NA / JA area, 6 meters and low bands.

An operation from Northern Somalia (Somaliland) has been recently announce, taking place in early 2024.  The plan is to have up to six stations active from 160 to 6m in a location with plenty of space for antennas.
