QSL cards going out very slow due to logistic and permanent traveling but they are going out in order we recive from ClubLog.

Update February 22, 2025: For all mode and band chasers. We are moving to FT4 RODEO till tomorrow morning 7 utc on all bands  (if no traffic we will be back to ft8).....

Update February 20, 2025: Unfortunately, a 60m permit will not be issued for the 5N9DTG activity. However, look for signals on 160m starting this evening (local). 

Update February 18, 2025: First log uploaded to ClubLog. Almost 20K FT8 QSOs in just over 24 hours. Team say they are still running around with local staff trying new locations in the big yard and garden. They hope to set up 40, 60, 80 and 160m antennas soon. Full speed operation in approx 2 days time.

Update February 17, 2025:    Struggling with massive noise levels on all the bands from power lines and lights.
QRV on 10.12.15.17.20.30 for now.
We are moving antennas around the yard and garden trying to locate the best possible location for each band.
So far about 7000 ft8 contacts.
We already passed 3 different authorities controls in 5n land.
Thanks to Rebel haters for sending idiotic emails to 5n embassies pointing us as a spy activity.
For your information haters!  You are closing opportunities for others to apply for 5N license and the operating permit in the future - so have great fun.

Update February 17, 2025: They are expected to start the activity today lasting about two weeks.

Update February 11, 2025:  Little update before 5N9DTG QRV...

There will be a lot of FT8 traffic during this activity as FT8 is our priority. We will use SUPER FOX latest ver., on 20,17,15,12,10m together with MSHV on the same bands, same time to increase the number of QSOs, and give a chance to small pistols and stations with wire between the trees.

Don't be confused if you see us on e.g. 20m 14.074 and 14.090 or 21.074 and 21.091 at the same time.   Super Fox will be used till we see low trafic, than MSHV will take over. 30,40,60,80,160 will be done on MSHV. 6m if any other - on MSHV only.

CW and SSB not very important for us, but there will be some activity as well."

Update February 4, 2025: "We are still waiting for one more CW virtuose and his entry visa stamp."

Update January 31, 2025:  Operation is still delayed. Waiting for further updates.

 Update January 23, 2025:  Some delays due flight cancelations. It looks like next available flight for us is around Jan 30st.

Update January 18, 2025: This will be a  2-man activity from 160 to 6 metres,  with the  highest priority given to FT8/FT4.

Update January 13, 2025: Rebel DX Group, is expecte to be QRV from Nigeria approximately in January 25, 2025 for 2 weeks. Then they will move to South Africa to prepare their vessel for a Southern Ocean voyage.

Three members of the Rebel DX Group are expected to be QRV on 160-6m (mainly CW and FT8) from Abuja, Nigeria, and have requested the callsign 5N5N. Dates are not confirmed yet.
