Update March 29, 2023: Due to the inter-station QRM when running FT8 and FT4 at same time, they will stop transmitting FT4 until perhaps the last day or two, The team is in good spirits, although conditions are tough on 80 & 160 due to constant thunderstorms and QRN.

Update March 28, 2023: The team has two seats — an upper and a lower location. On the upper one, the place is equipped to work in CW and SSB, there are antennas for all bands, including receiving Beveridges. There are already more than 100k QSOs in the expedition log.

The digital location is located lower to the lake. It is equipped with all the necessary 160-6m antennas and operates around the clock on all bands.

Update March 23, 2023: The team had a difficult night. It's raining heavily outside and the termites have rushed for warmth and light. They climb everywhere, get stuck in fans and carry out a breakdown in amplifiers.

Update March 23, 2023: Yesterday they installed the 80 and 160m antennas, together with the Beverage.

Update March 20, 2023: On March 19, around 19 UTC, the team installed an antenna at 40 meters and went on the air. The installation of antennas and the equipment of places continues.

Update March 19, 2023: At about 13:00 local time, the team arrived at Kigali Airport. Passed through customs. Kigali met the guys with a little rain and a thunderstorm.

Update March 19, 2023: The last preparations of luggage before departure from Domodedovo airport created many problems. There was a lot of luggage, which had to be repacked it and entailed additional large expenses. At 23.30 UTC on March 18, the team successfully landed in Addis Ababa for transfer and customs clearance.

Update March 17, 2023: Members of the team are already in their way. The flight is scheduled on March 18 at 19.00 UTC from Domodedovo airport, Moscow.

Update March 12, 2023:  They will be QRV on 160-6m and the QO-100 satellite, in CW, SSB and FT8, with several stations  and a wide range of antennas.

The Russian DX Team will be active from Rwanda as 9X5RU for two weeks starting March 22, 2023.
