Update May 25, 2022: Power amplifier failed, so there won't be EME operation, only MS, tropo, ES....

Update May 22, 2022: Arrived today in KM26ri. As you may read before my origin QTH was canceled by host and I had to search urgent a new one. This new QTH is far as good as the 1st one if not to say it is worse. Blocked in several directions except moonrise east to south. For EME with this low elevation it is nearly blocked to moonset west.
Tomorrow I will setup the antennas and check the conditions. If you are able to work me in any case you should be happy about this super rare square. I will give my best.

Update May 4, 2022: Accommodation at Santorini was canceled by AirBNB today by host without reasons.
Found another one in KM26RI but I don’t know how suitable this QTH is for EME and if it is possible to do radio operation. I will check it when I am on site. Worst case no operation possible, sorry.

Update March 3, 2022: From DK5EW: "The DX expedition to Agean Island is still on "Go" despite all the adversity in the world. There are still 74 days until checkin flights. In the near future I will check the equipment again."

I am trying to get QRV from Santorini KM26QI on 144MHz. Planned are EME and Meteorscatter and with luck Sporadic E. Accommodation and flights are booked. Santorini is known for making amateur radio on shortwave almost impossible, with permanent noise S9 on the shortwave bands. Since no one has done 144 MHz EME operation on Santorini yet, it's not sure if it's possible. I will be "holiday style" again, but like last year I will try to hang on the radio as often as possible, especially as KM26 is one of the most wanted grids on 2m.
