Information

Update October 16: They went QRT on October 16 at about 14z

Update October 3: They are QRV since about 1215z

Update October 2: The team arrived safe at about 21z. They should be QRV tomorrow, October 3.

Update October 1: "Another good news, the CDXP team is completely tested, all members are COVID negative. So we can go direction S9 tomorrow. The itinerary of our journey is as follows: 1.10.2021 19:20 CET Departure from Prague in the direction of Lisbon. A night at a hotel near the airport (would anyone from CT want to join us?) 2.10.2021 10:20 PRT Departure from Lisbon to Sao Tome 2.10.2021 17:20 GMT Arrival in Sao Tome. Transfer to QTH after the necessary procedures. And then we start building the station.
We look forward to hearing you on the bands."

Update September 30: "The team begins to be tested by RT-PCR tests. Although we do not need a test for arrival in Portugal because we are all vaccinated, the Republic of Sao Tome does not recognize vaccination and requires a result of RT-PCR printed on paper on arrival not older than 72 hours. That’s why we all have to go through it here. Unfortunately, to make matters worse, we have to pass the RT-PCR test before leaving S9, because this is a requirement of the Republic of Sao Tome and our status as vaccinated EU citizens will not change anything. Again, this test is not required by Portugal."

Update September 26: The  band plan and  the FT8 Operation Guide  for the  S9OK DXpedition  to Sao Tome  can be found at their web page

Update June 21: Possible operation also on 60m band.
