Update November 14, 2021: New preparations to put this new IOTA on the air will begin early next year with the aim of activating AF-115 in the last quarter of 2022. The callsign may also change.

Update December 3, 2020: As news of Covid vaccines emerge – with hopefully an improving picture across the world by the middle of next year – plans for this particular island activity will restart after March 2021.

The operation from Mukawwar island, AF-115 (a never before activated IOTA in the Red Sea, off Sudan) has been postponed due to COVID-19 situation.
