Information

Update October 27: After 13 days of intensive operation our expedition is coming to an end. The crew is still highly motivated, the equipment and antennas have been working reliably and without failures since the beginning. The condx have also shown their good side, which can be seen in the QSO numbers. On October 28th in the morning we will start with the dismantling of the station and the day after we will start our journey home. We were glad to have made a QSO possible for many radio amateurs and thank you for the many calls. The exact statistics will soon be available in Club Log.

Update October 9: The team is now prepared to start on Monday, October 12th. The flights are confirmed ok, the material is stowed away and ready for transport. Werner, DJ9KH, will join us a day later. If everything goes according to plan, we will be QRV from October 14th. Hopefully we don’t have to struggle with too much local QRM; we will watch the bands closely so as not to miss an opening on the low bands and high bands. We are grateful for information about our signals via email. Please do not inquire about the log during the duration of the expedition! Also pay attention to the instructions of the operator! We look forward to every QSO, good luck!

Update July 5: Suggested frequencies are:

  CW   - 1822.5, 3526, 7026, 10102, 18086, 21026, 24906 and 28026 kHz

  FT8  - 1836, 3569, 7056, 10131, 14091, 18095, 21091, 24911 and 28091 kHz

   * Please listen always to the instructions of the operators!

Update July 1: Our plan is to operate between October 15th and October 28th 2020 (24/7) with up to 3 stations simultaneously from 160m to 10m. Sorry, no 60m possible.

Update March 23: QRV in CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8, with three IC-7300 stations on the air running 800 watts into Spider-Beams and vertical antennas.

QSL via ClubLog's OQRS (direct or Bureau; recommended) or via DL2AWG, by the Bureau or direct. LoTW will be activated 6 months after DXpedition. No eQSL! QSL requests with insufficient return postage will be answered via the Bureau.

Update March 21: Website available

A group of six German hams (including team leader DM2AUJ, co-leader DL2AWG) will be active from Kosovo as Z66DX during the period October 9-28, 2020. Exact dates may change slightly due to flight availability.

They will run two stations 24/7 in CW/SSB/Digi on 160 to 10m (no 60m) using combination of amplifiers, Spiderbeams and verticals. Website under construction.
