Update Aug,17: Evgenij, UA4RX ended his 12-month assignment at the Ernst Krenkel observatory on Heiss Island (EU-019), Franz Josef Land on 10 August. The RI1FJ station has been dismantled, and regrettably the 2018-19 team does not include amateur radio operators. QSL via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS, or direct to

Update Mar,30: Eugene, UA4RX received RI1FJ license and will be active from Heiss Island, Franz Josef Land.
License valid until 1 September 2018.
He is active now on 30/40m using 100 watt and wire antennas.

Update Aug,28: Eugene, UA4RX will start his activity from Heiss Island, Franz Josef Land 1 September 2017 as UA4RX/1.
He will try to renew his RI1FJ license

Eugeny RI1FJ is returning to F.J.L (Heiss Island) and is currently in the process of renewing his license. His still is likely from August 2017 to August 2018.
