Update September 21: SOMETHING HAPPENED WITH THE LOW BAND VERTICAL – SWR ON 160M IS VERY HIGH. WILL TRY TO FIX DURING DAYLIGHT.
Update September 19: APPROXIMATELY 120M LONG BOG ANTENNA IS INSTALLED IN EU DIRECTION. LONGER ONE WAS NOT POSSIBLE – THE BEACH STARTS. IN NORTH AMERICA DIRECTION WE CAN’T PUT BOG, AS OCEAN STARTS THERE.
WE HAVE OBTAINED LICENSE FOR 60M OPERATION.
GOT NEWS FROM NAURU AIRLINES THAT OUR FLIGHT BACK SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 25TH HAS BEEN CANCELLED. AND WE WERE PUT ON THE FLIGHT DAY EARLIER – SEPTEMBER 24TH.
THIS CAUSES SOME EXTRA INCONVINIENCE AND COSTS – WE WILL HAVE TO END OUR OPERATIONS 1 DAY EARLIER THAN PLANNED AND INSTEAD SPEND ONE EXTRA DAY IN AUSTRALIA.
WE WILL DISMANTLE ANTENNAS ON SEPTEMBER 23. ON SEPTEMBER 24TH NOON NEED TO BE IN THE AIRPORT. WE SHOULD BE HOME BY SEPTEMBER 26TH EVENING..
Update September 17: Antennas are up. 2 stations on the air, SSB and CW. Around 6000 QSOs in the log.
Update September 8: Activity will be on 160-6 meters, possibly 60m, using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8. The suggested frequencies are:
CW - 1826.5/1821, 3524, 7024, 10113, 14024, 18083, 21024, 24903 and 28024
SSB - 3790, 7090, 14190, 18140, 21290, 24940 and 28490
RTTY - 3583, 7043, 10143, 14083, 18105, 21083, 24923 and 28083
FT8(*) - 1836, 3565, 7070, 10143, 14090, 18095, 21090, 24910 and 28090 kHz
* - FT8 will be Fox & Hound mode
Split operation will always be used: QSX CW up 2 (160m down 2, for JA 1810-1820); and QSX SSB/RTTY up 5.
QSL via YL2GN direct or ClubLog (for direct or by the Bureau) for paper QSLs. Full LoTW upload will be done 6 months after the end of the DX- pedition. For more details and updates, see web site.
Please do not send log correction requests. Corrections will not be provided. All individual supporters 20 USDs+ will receive direct QSL.
Please do not send your QSL to them via Bureau - they are not required.
Update September 3: Callsign changed from C21W to C21WW
Yuris/YL2GM, Kaspars/YL1ZF, Kristers/YL3JA and Jack/YL2KA will be active from Nauru as C21W during September 16-25, 2019. QRV on 160-6m; CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8.
