Information

Update Aug,21: The team is doing well but having some trouble with beam and 20m vertical antenna. They will try to fix tomorrow and install 4SQ antenna for 40m. All team members are very busy. If time permits they will try to upload online log tomorrow. Now in the log about 3000 QSO.
Update Aug,18: Team found another generator, checked it outside village, all are working properly. They will try to reach island and to be on the air tomorrow. Stay tune
Update Aug,17: The team is already in Neshkan and even had the opportunity to visit the island to find a place for the camp. Today they checked the generator and found out that it was giving big interference to the radio. Therefore, tomorrow they will try to find a replacement. If everything goes well and the weather allows, they will arrive on the island on Sunday or Monday local time.
Update Aug,14: Still very strong wind in Lavrentia. Flight postponed again until around 2030z, August 14.
Update Aug,13: The team spent 7 hours at the airport waiting for their flight from Anadyr to Lavrentia. Due to strong crosswinds the flight has been postponed. Next attempt will be tomorrow (August 14).
Update Aug,9: At 1710 UTC two team members Victor, UA3AKO and Alex, RA3AV have departed Moscow (Vnukovo) heading towards Anadyr.
Update Jul,28: Yuri UA0KBG, Vicotr UA3AKO and Alexandr RA3AV plan to be active as RT65KI from Idlidlya Island (AS-065) on 18-26 August. Dates are Approximate, and will depend on their travel arrangements from Lavrentija to the village of Neshkan, as well as on weather and local conditions. Plans are to operate CW and SSB on 40, 30, 20 and 17 metres. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via UA3AKO.
Full info and dates to follow, but planning is underway for an IOTA DXpedition to Idlidlya Island AS-065. Operation as RT65KI. QSL via UA3AKO.
