Update December 31: First day of operating was ok. Only very few QSO. Had some technical problems and the S level is very high. Needed to hike in the African sun quite a distance from habitation to operate in reasonable S levels.

I will be stationed again in Cabo Verde from 29th of December 2019 until 9th of January 2020.

I will be located on the island of Sal, IOTA number AF-086. Sal is a part of the Barlavento islands (Windward islands) and my Maidenhead grid will be HK86mo. This time I will only be operating CW and a very little SSB. Antenna will be a 35´ EFHW and possibly a 39m long wire supported by a 13m telescopic pole. Equipment will be a RS978 transceiver and T1 tuner. Stay tuned.
