Information

Update April 17, 2024: This is Chris VK2YUS, providing an update on my next planned activity from Vanuatu.

I’ll be operating again as YJ0CA from Port Vila in Vanuatu from approx April 27th thru May 9th 2024.

Operation will be on SSB only, with the station consisting of the same gear as previously, namely simple wire antennas and verticals from 40m thru to 10m plus an IC-7300 and a small amplifier (400w).

Operating hours are expected to be mostly between 2100z and 1000z.

Please note I don’t use any electronic logging or QSL systems, just paper logbooks and a high quality physical QSL card for confirmations.

QSL cards for requested confirmation of contacts will be dispatched by Air Mail in May from Australia, with QSL details listed on QRZ.com

Regards, Chris  YJ0CA / VK2YUS
