Update Oct,12_ T8EM has been reported on EME the past moonpass with good signalsUpdate Oct,5_ Departure to Palau was about 1 week more.
We are now packing of equipments and many foods for survival vacation at Typhoon shelter.
Preparations are working well for the moment.
T8EM(PJ77hq) will be operated on 144.114MHz+-QRM/QRN always 1st sequence for our CQ from MR at the local time on Oct. 11 to MS on Oct.16.
Please allow us not to type "73" at the end of QSO so that a lot of stations can contact with us.
Equipments are followings.
Exciter : FT991 / FT817
PA : ITB Phoenix-1000A (Output:800w)
LNA : KAWAGOE (Gain: 30dB)
Antenna : homemade 2x9elements LFA(Gain: abt 17dBi by MMANA estimation )
Mode : JT65B only
PC : Lenovo X230
As we can’t access N0UK chat board in real time due to no internet environment at shack, We will follow the QSO log on T8EM column in MMMonVHF ASAP.

ps. T88CU( Taki/JH3QFL ) is ambitious for QRV on both satellite and HF top band.
Also I(JH3AZC) will operate HF low band for many mode(incl. FT8/JT65A).
Please try to contact us if you are interested in SAT or HF band. GL. Update Jul-20_ We’ll change the T8EM QRV location to Choll Village(PJ77hq) where is located north part of Palau and the same place which Lance W7GJ operated 6m EME as T8GJ last year. You can see the detail at HP sight of Lance.
The reason is to reduce the city noise as much as possible and not to step on the same rut as my KH2 operation last year.
Lance gave me a nice advice for the QRV location in Palau.

We will stay at the typhoon shelter in Choll Village but there is no internet service here.
So we can’t keep in touch with you in real time by N0UK sight.
As there is bungalows where we walk for a several minutes and we can use internet service at there, we’ll be able to announce the QRG, start time and so on before our QRV.

I will go to T8 to activate 2m EME operation with co-operator TAKA ( JP3EXR / T88DG ) from October 11 to 16 this year.
Flight and Hotel have been booked already. The hotel for the operation is located at GL PJ77fi.
We have each private call sign, but will use the group call sign which is assigned later.
It may be “T8EM” (I am requesting now) and will be announce after the issue.
Equip is as shown below.
Exciter : FT-817,
PA : ITB Phoenix-1000A,
LNA : by KAWAGOE MUSEN,
ANT : TBD( in the process of design )
Operation mode is JT65B on 2m EME only.
And, Takio Hata ( JH3QFL / T88CU ) will activate the satellite communication at the same period.
He want to try active satellite as many as possible.
Also, Mamoru Nomura ( JH3VAA / T88CV ) will activate HF operation. QRV band is TBD.
The party is consist of above 4 person.
