Update July-13: Cancelled. All is ready and tested, but unfortunately the response of the doctors this morning is still blocking the DXpedition.
The disease is very slow in healing and they advised me not to leave Europe, at least for some time yet.
There is improvement, but while it was rapid at the beginning, it is now very slow, but continuous.
Health is the most important thing we have and I don't feel like risking it.
The location and the assistance of Cuba's OM friends is always confirmed and guaranteed, even on another date.
Therefore, I decided to cancel the DXpedition, in agreement with my team-mates of the Verona DX Team.

But we keep everything ready for boxing and the final date will be communicated about a month before the actual departure.
Fortunately, the airline, which was sponsoring us, has blocked the price of tickets, which we paid already a year ago, and maintains the will to sponsor us granting us the cost of luggage and reductions on airline tickets.

Update Jan-8: Dear friends EMErs, everything is ready and tested for T46MB DXpedition, but unfortunately my illness has not yet ended and the Verona DXteam does not want to go without me. Fortunately, the airline tickets are safely on standby. In agreement with the Cuban OMs of Santa Clara Radio Club, with the National President of the FRC (Federacion Radioaficionados Cuba) and with the Cuban Ministry of Telecommunications, the DXpedition is postponed for a few months (probably in July or August), depending on the Moon conditions. The call T46MB has been confirmed for the only DXpedition authorized for experiments via EME in Cuba, using digital systems, frequencies and powers have been confirmed too. We will choose a period where the degradation of the Moon will be optimal to allow many stations to have QSO with Cuba, even with minimal equipment, on all frequencies scheduled. (July August) Optimal even for Sporadic-E on 50Mhz. Excuse me again, but with health you can not joke. Thank you all. Update Apr-13: Due to a health problem, which prevents Lucio I3LDP from moving for long distances from Italy, in agreement with the Cuban friends of Santa Clara Radio Club and with the National President of the FRC (Federacion Radioaficionados Cuba), the expedition is postponed to the date of 17 january 2019 until 27 january 2019. The Cuban Ministry of Telecommunications has confirmed the call T46MB for the only authorized DXpedition to perform experiments via EME in Cuba, using digital modes and frequencies and powers suitable for the purpose. The period could have fallen in 2018, but risking being in the tropical storms and tornadoes period, it was decided to opt for January 2019. In the period chosen the degradation of the Moon will be optimal allowing to have a QSO with Cuba to many stations, even with minimum equipment on all the planned frequencies, even better this additional waiting time could be sufficient to program also the use of 10GHz.
