Update June 17, 2026: I am back from Turkmenistan. This time, my time for radio propagation was limited and the man-made noise in the university was like S4 on 6m, S9 on 20m. Best distance on 6m was GM, some G and F stations.....
On QSL cards: Everyone who has a valid QSO will get a QSL card. There is only one method: Please send me a snail mail letter to:
David Pommerenke
Paul Anton Keller Weg 30/2
8075 Hart b Graz
Austria
Or to my university address:
David Pommerenke
Institute of Electronics
Inffeldgasse 12
8010 Graz, Austria
No payment is needed to get a QSL card. Still, I am happy to take donations e.g., on my PayPal account, which is associated with david.pommerenke@ieee.org. Do not send IRCs, or alike. Optimal is an evelope with your address on it.
73, David
Update June 6, 2026: Main activity will be on 6 metres (50110 kHz, CW and SSB) with 100 watts to a 3-element Yagi; "shortwave probably more around 8 AM local time" (3 UTC) on 20 metres (14020 CW and 14200 SSB), 15 metres (21020 CW and 21200 SSB), and 10 metres (28020 CW and 28550 SSB) with 100 watts to a vertical antenna or dipole. All frequencies are +/- 5 kHz."
New information will be posted around June 7, 2026. Hope for being active again in my work on propagation as EZ/DL7ZM, including 20m, 15m and 10m. Only CW and SSB. Focus is the propagation on 6m.
If you are interested in ARRL DXCC: This is still on-going.
David"
