From DXW via OPDX: Darek, HF3GD (ex-SP3GDH), who has been active as TJ1GD, TL8GD, and TT1GD, reportedly has been officially granted the callsign TN8GD for operations from the Republic of the Congo. It was reported that his "license has been issued for an indefinite period, allowing for long-term activity planning from this rare DXCC entity."
Look for operations to commence in the near future. The station will initially be active during Darek’s pastoral visits and humanitarian missions in the capital city, Brazzaville. This project is a direct continuation of his long-standing commitment to supporting local communities and orphanages, previously conducted under his other African callsigns.
In parallel, plans are underway to enable remote operations as soon as the local infrastructure and technical setup allow.
Technical Details & QSL Information:
• Bands: All HF bands plus 6 meters.
• Modes: CW, SSB, and FT8, depending on propagation and operational conditions.
• Logs: The station is currently awaiting LoTW certificate activation. All logs will be uploaded as soon as the administrative process is complete.
