Update April 20, 2026: We should be much more active from Wednesday. SSB and low bands

Update April 3, 2026: Expect some slower activity around April 7th -8th .Our supply airplane is coming  and some of the officials will fly out to T30 and T32 land via Fiji

Also vessel is heading back to Samoa and Fiji  for first load  and a lot of  equipment. This will be very busy  time on Atoll but we will try to be active as much we can.

Update March 31, 2026: Activity is still on slow due to a lot  more work than expected. Positive thing is that our stay will be much longer (as not expected 😅 )
Big project on the horizon, so possible several months activity (in and out for supplies by ship and airplane, ncluding remote station for a very long time .This will allows all small "pistoleiros" to end up in the log. 
Remote station idea  will run only 100w using solar system and 4 x 225 lithium battery bank.
Rebels planning to set commercial watermaker system for 28 local people  (no fresh water on Atoll) and new tsunami-earthquake warning system (old one already deth)

Update March 27, 2026: They announce QRV in a few hours.

Update March 23, 2026: This will be 2 ops activity for 2 weeks with potential permanent remote station on T31 Land at gov station there . (more info after arrival)

T31TTT will concentrate on Digital modes as usual to give a chance to a small pistols and get you in to the log. Again, we don't care about your dupes qsos so you can keep calling till you see your self in the log 1 CW and 1 SSB will be in action too!

Update March 17, 2026:  "2 Rebel vessels are on the way now to T31 land via 5W ,KH8 ,ZK

There will not be any activity from that stop over locations. Only drop off and pick up but in near future when ZK border will be Re-open. Rebels will do both of that destinations on Rebel style.

Work us even 100 times, we don’t care about dups. Be sure you are in the log. We always try to work all small pistols trying to call us. Read QSO confirmation policy, if you don't agree - don't waste YOUR time.

Update March 7, 2026: The upcoming T31TTT Activity  to Kanton island is very likely going to be the last one for some considerable time. (Similar situations to 3D2/C Conway Reef)
Rebels will be joining  Government officials including an attorney general from Kiribati and a Ministry of Fishery and Environmental delegation. 
They are changing the visiting rules very soon. After PIPA (Phoenix Island Protected Area) collapsed some years ago, the new Parliament decided to move responsibility to the Ministry of Fishery and Environmental department(s). Latest statement from them is as follows:
 -- Fully lockdown access to Kanton for visitors, yachts and private jets.
 -- You can apply for a sport  fishing permit or visitor permit under strict conditions and fees. Approx  2000 AUD per person,
 -- Applicable bird watching fees (even if you don't want to watch them).
 -- Landing fees, Port fees, Tourism fees, Village fees, Environmental fees, Biosecurity vessel inspection 5000 AUD.
As an additional cost,:  
 -- 4 officials need to assist on every single attempt to visit Kanton. You need to buy tickets for them from Tarawa to any port of vessel or charter plane departure, provide food and accommodation and after the trip you need to return them back by plane.
In simple terms, future Kanton Island DXpeditions will hit about 200,000 USD which makes T31 very expensive idea.
As Kanton is port of Entry but no Customs and Immigration personel on the island means you need to do clearance in T32 Kiritimati or Tarawa T30 adding another 1 week of sailing ....or 
Your last chance is pay for 2 other officials (6 in total) for their fly tickets ,accommodation on ship and food....just so they can stamp your passport on Kanton.  🙂

Update February 27, 2026:  Activity from  March 25th +/- 1 day
This is work trip. expect some QRT from time to time

All bands, Digi modes priority +SSB and CW for small pistols around the world.
MSHV Super Fox and MSHV multistream on STD frequencies will be used.
14 radios, same time, 2 radios per band
Example:
14.074 and 14.090 same time
18.100 and 18.095 same time
21.074 and 21.090 same time
24.915 and 24.925 same time
28.074 and 28.090 same time

Kanton  Island  activity from 6m to 160m

Some important points:

1. We will operate MSHV Super Fox and MSHV on standard freq if traffic goes low
2. We always send 73' but only 3 times, after 3rd time we are moving to CQ call and you have to try again.

Don't be surprised if you see our 2 signals,  same time on the same band, but different freq. (for example  14.074 and 14.090 or 18.100  and 18.095 and so on).

12 radios will be used same time on all bands to make small pistols happy
