Information

LZ1AAW, as an activator of LZ0A gives little additional information (Tnx OPDX):

During the 34th Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition, a radio amateur activation of the world-renowned Bulgarian Antarctic callsign LZ0A will take place in the period 27.12.2025-16.02.2025(+- 2 days). The station will be operated by Ivaylo Nachev, LZ1AAW, a member of the expedition team. The Bulgarian Antarctic Base “St. Kliment Ohridski” is located on Livingston Island, South Shetland Islands, at coordinates 62°38′29″ South and 60°21′53″ West. The activation is registered under IOTA reference AN-010 and WAP reference WAP BUL-01, and falls within CQ Zone 13, ITU Zone 73, and the DXCC entity

South Shetland Islands (No. 241). This initiative continues the long-standing tradition of Bulgarian presence and activity in Antarctica.

Over the years, radio operators supporting LZ0A and the Bulgarian Antarctic Base have included Miki Mikov, LZ1RR, during the 3rd expedition; Yordan Yankov (Dany), LZ2UU, from the 4th to the 15th expeditions; and Dimitar Raytchev, LZ1UQ, during the 15th expedition. Their work has been essential for maintaining communications between the Bulgarian Antarctic missions and the rest of the world, and has contributed significantly to promoting Bulgarian scientific research on the Ice Continent. Ivaylo Nachev (Ivo), LZ1AAW, will conduct the radio amateur activation of the station during the 34th expedition.

After the end of the expedition, all contacts will be confirmed with specially designed QSL cards for this activation through the Bulgarian QSL Bureau. Your QSL confirmations may be sent via LZ1KDP, P.O. Box 830, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria.

I don't have a ClubLog yet, after the end of the expedition all connections will be confirmed at LoTW and there will also be confirmations with QSL card, special for the current activation made by LZ1JZ....
