Update June 21, 2025: My activity in Turkmenistan is completed for this year, it was a great success, first in the mountains and then at Oguz Han University. I concentrated on 6m, as we are interested in 6m propagation. On 10m the discipline was not acceptable. If I call only OZ and other stations reply every time, then this is not amateur radio but a zoo.
Update June 19, 2025 @ 0630z: EZ/DL7ZM is active now from LM97
Update June 16, 2025: David is in Turkmenistan and was active from a mountain location for two days. Now, I am in Ashgabat and will not be active Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. But I will be active again: Thursday afternoon, local time and Friday, I do not know when, I will be active, mainly on 6m as we are interested in propagation.
Frequencies again: 50.110, 28.020, 28.550
Please place me on the DXMAPS if you hear me. I cannot access most web sites, I need your help with this. Location is Ashgabat. Yesterday it was LM88.
I assume, this activity will finally accepted by ARRL, as I have a full license with callsign, frequencies etc.
On QSL cards: Everyone who has a valid QSO will get a QSL card. Please send me a snail mail letter to:

Update June 13, 2025: David is in EZ with all equiment. He reports some problems due to the attack from Israel.
David, DL7ZM, plans to continue his radio propagation research hopefully starting either June 13 Friday or Saturday and continue until June 21. Only CW and SSB modulation is granted to use and identified as EZ/DL7ZM. Call only on 50.110, 28.020 or 28.550 +/- 5 kHz (for split). David operates on battery and will not call CQ. Please note this is not a DX Expedition, the goal is to reach large distances, educate students about RF, antennas and propagation and observe propagation during the day and discover unusual paths, like the one I found from Socotra: a daily path from Socrota to Finland.
David will have no internet access to post anything on DXmaps. You will need to do this, it will alert others as this is mainly CW. David
