Update October 19, 2025:  The VP2VRX youth DXpedition team has arrived in the US Virgin Islands. All team members - W3MLJ, N4XTT, KC1KUG, and W9RFT - made the journey successfully, and we're pleased to report that every piece of luggage and all equipment arrived without any issues.

Update October 18, 2025: This is it! The bags are packed, equipment is ready, and the VP2VRX team is heading out to the Virgin Islands. Our journey begins with NP2R operations from USVI starting October 20th, then we move to BVI on October 23rd for the main VP2VRX operation during CQ WW SSB Contest.

A group of young amateur radio operators are heading to the British Virgin Islands this October as the VP2VRX DXpedition. The team will be operating from DXCC Entity #138 from October 23-28, 2025, giving oper- ators a chance to work this Caribbean location during the prime contest time. They are proud to have DX Engineering as their equipment sponsor, making this youth-driven operation possible.

Look for the operators to be on the islands on October 23-28, 2025, and are expected to be active outside of the contest operating as VP2V/homecalls.
