Update September 8, 2024: Great news! Hours ago, our friend 9M8HAZ has been discharged and back joining & piloting with the rest at Timba-Timba Island, then to Mataking Island. Thanks to everyone who has prayed and concerned about him. Severe injuries won’t stop him do what he likes (radio & expedition).

Update September 4, 2024: Unfortunately, team member 9M8HAZ has been hospitalised following an accident; a spill of acid to be precise. He has been admitted for 2-3 days and will be monitored closely by doctors. The rest of the team have decided to carry on to Timba Timba island as planned.

Update September 4, 2024: Last day on Mabul Island. Then they move to the next island at about 22 UTC on September 4. It takes about 1 hour to reach Timba-Timba Island, then QRV fter 00 UTC on September 5.

Update September 2, 2024:  Due internet issues at Mabul Island and unexpected server issues, the Day 1 logs will be re-uploaded on 5-7th September 2024.

Update August 17, 2024:  They will be QRV from 4 different islans, according to the following schedule:

OJ94HF, Mabul Island  (1-4 Sep 2024) – confirmed
OJ94LN, Timba-Timb Island  (5-7 Sep 2024) – confirmed
OJ94LN, Mataking Island  (8-11 Sep 2024) – confirmed
OJ94KO, Pom-Pom Island (12-15 Sep 2024) – confirmed

Update July 2, 2024: 9M1Z will be active from Timba-Timba Island (1st confirmed QRV island) during the first week of September (specific dates to be confirmed soon). 2-3 days activity with possible QSY to another island later.

Team 9M1Z announce further plans to be QRV from the Semporna Islands, OC-133, on September 1-15, 2024. They plan to take in the following islands within the group:

Kapalai
Mataking
Pom Pom
