Update April 21, 2023: Today we mounted 30m vertical and about 4 UTC we should start FT8 on this band.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL SECOND TIME. Please do not repeat QSO on same band, same mode. Please avoid dupes. We do not like that. It is bad behavior and somebody new, looking for ATNO could make QSO during that period.
Update April 20, 2023: Last two days we have very bad windy weather. 40m antenna was destroyed. Also VDA for 12, 17m was broken. We tried to repair antennas but it is not easy…
Update April 15, 2023: Our signals are going to Europe through North Pole and that path is distorted by polar fluttering. On SSB you can hear typical distortions and on FT8 screen signal is not ideal. Sometimes signals are difficult to decode. Maybe Europe should use “deep” decoding on digital.
Update April 14, 2023: Yesterday we obtained E51CIK and E51WEG licenses and mounted most of antennas. Pileup is so big that nobody can go to buy food essential for dxpeditions (beer, eggs, bread, jam). Probably we can survive without food until tomorrow. Please do not call us at least for 1h.
Update April 13, 2023: They are reported to be already QRV.
SP9CIK and SP9FIH, plan to be QRV on 40-10m from South Cook islands as E51CIK and E51WEG, sometime soon, possibly on April 13-28, 2023. They will use VDAs and loop antennas.
