Update November 8, 2022: "Operation is now QRT with more than 90,000 QSO in the log !! The whole team is very happy for the goal achieved, thanks to all those who worked us, hoping that you had fun. We have done our best."

Update November 3, 2022: The team is working very hard and team spirit is great.
They have some great pile ups due to the propagation being so good and they thank you for your patience. There will be no 6m operating today but they will try the 6m Band again tomorrow (Friday). Last night they worked on the 5mhz (60m) Band and logged around 650 stations

Update October 28, 2022: Team arrived Addis Ababa earlier today and about 11z they are scheduled to arrive Djibouti. Then they still have a road trip to their QTH in Obock begins before being QRV.

Update August 24, 2022: Emil provides the following update about his EME operation: "All ready for the EME project. I Bought new big antenna, 9,3m boom and also new mast to support it. The last days i hade very good resoults on EME from my garden, so im ready to go!

I will also do 3 hours CW shifts, but it will be no problem to be most of the time and moon period QRV. I will be put all informations on eme chats and will be there when i am QRV. Also when I will plan to go on the air with the EME."

Update August 19, 2022: MMMonVHF publishes that Emil DL8JJ will bring 2m EME equipment to the DXpedition J28MD

Mediterraneo DX Club (MDXC) members IZ8CCW, IZ4UEZ, IZ3GNG, IZ2GNQ, YO8WW, AG4W, IK4QJF, DJ5IW, DL6LZM, DL8JJ, KO8SCA, DL8OBF, NG7M and IU8LMC will be active from Djibouti as J28MD from October 29 to November 7, 2022. Special focus on the low and WARC bands.
