Update November 14, 2025:  I'm in the planning stage for next years trip to ZC4, I'm thinking this time I will go back in March, the first ever trip I did after 30 odd years was in March and conditions were pretty good, I took part in the CQ WW WPX Contest on 10m from the beach at Melanda, although carting the generator every day to the beach and setting up was very tiring, it would have been so much easier if I had been able to leave the equipment setup but it just wasn't worth taking the chance , so I think that will be the plan for next year, I think i will either purchase another IC-7300 or an FT-710, I've always been an Icom man but the price of the little 710 makes it hard to beat tbh, depending on finances I may also go back in October for the CQWW SSB in October, the ZC4 Multiplier will be very much wanted in that contest.

As far as my UK operating goes I'm still only active on 10m and 6m, 10 has been pretty good this year but I'm seriously thinking about going down the SDR route so I can also use my station remotely, there is been a few times I've missed a new one because I've been away from the shack and it would be great to have the ability to remote back into it, I've so far this year worked 165 DXCC on 10m and 65 on 6m, considering I work shifts I'm fairly pleased with that, I do miss not having access to other bands when 10 is dead and I'm actively looking to do something about that, even if its only a multiband vertical for the WARC and bands down to either 40 or 80m, been looking around the  2nd hand market for any verticals for sale but so far haven't found what I want.

Update July 5, 2025:  "I will be active as ZC4MK again from 8th to the 16th of July, depending on getting setup I maybe QRV late on the 7th, I had fully intended on a decent 50 MHz yagi, but I was let down at the very last minute. I will be QRV from Ypsonas in KM64LQ square, my location is just inside the Sovereign Base Area so means I can be QRV constantly. This will be the last time at this QTH as after I leave its being rented out long term so I will be back to the Avdimou beach location for my next trip. I have a portable Hexbeam for 20m thru 6m providing I can find somewhere to mount it. I've been trying to source a couple of 5 or 6ft swagged poles in Cyprus, but despite asking many people and also on the 5B4 groups, nobody seems bothered about helping. So I will just  have to see if I can find a way of getting it up when I arrive. I have also an EFHW covering 80m thru to 10m as well. I may need to drive around some of the local merchants or TV installers on the 8th to see if I can find a couple of poles. Its a lightweight Hexbeam so only about 6kg so a light TV pole would suffice. If I can get it put up at least it will give me 2 elements on 6m as well. Just 100w from my little Icom IC-7000, I will only be on CW and SSB. Sorry no FT8...."

Update March 23. 2025: Operation has been postponed, for possibly July 2025.

Adrian, G0KOM will be QRV from Cyprus SBA as ZC4MK from on March 24-31, 2025. He will participate in the CQ WW WPX contest.

Another visit is possible in July.
