This easy, although relatively long route takes us from Valldemossa where we will leave the car up to the Mola de Son Pacs, returning to Valldemosa by La Comuna.

The walk begins by the end of the garden of the Cartuja de Valldemossa, by a steep trail that goes along the so called Bosc des Frares (forest of the friars) and continues crossing a beautiful holm oak wood  full of old coal bunkers ("sitges") and lime kilns.

The narrow trail later gets wider and takes us through the Sa Garriga Plana up to the mountain pass called Coll de San Jordi. At his point we have to decide whether to continue to the left to follow the alternative route to Mola de Son Pacs (recommended) or shorten the hike and take the trail to the right towards La Comuna.

The ascent to la Mola de Son Pacs goes by a steep trail which does not represent greater difficulty. In about twenty minutes we will get on top of the "Mola" that is a high plateau with a beautiful low holm oak grove and finally we will reach a wide track.

The Mola de Son Pacs is full of trails and tracks, so it is very important to remember the walked route as we will have to walk it back later.

Following the track to the southeast we will reach a road that takes to a stone cottage used as shelter for animals.

Following a trail that continues by the end of the track to the northwest you get to the edge of the cliff from where there are excellent views to the north-northwest..

Walking back on our steps we return to the Coll de San Jordi, beginning here the ascent towards La Comuna de Valldemosa, that offers excellent panoramic views to the north-northeast.

Finally we return to Valldemossa by a trail that near the village provides beautiful shots of its Cartuja.
