Update June 19: Team is on their way back to Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky. If conditions permits they will make short stop on AS-039, Komandorskye Islands. Most likely it will be on June, 22.
Update June 18 10:50: R205NEW, AS-205 will QRT in 11-13 hours
Update June 15: On 2000 UTC yesterday their location was 59.33N/169.08O LOC RO49VI. It means that if weather permits they should arrive on Bogoslova island around 1600 UTC tonight.
Update June 9: Vasily, R7AL informs that the R26RRC team arrived safely to the mainland from Paramushir island AS-204 a few hours ago. They made 6675 QSOs.
The schedule was to set sail for AS-205NEW (to QRV as R205NEW) earlier today but the weather is not good. Vasily says there’s a cyclone moving in from the east with already 3m waves and high winds affecting the region. Therefore, the team will need to wait at least 2 days while also waiting for news from the skipper about the crossing.
A Russian Robinson team, led by R7AL, will be active as R205NEW from Bogoslova Island, AS-205NEW during June 14-18, 2019. QRV on HF bands, CW/SSB. QSL via Club Log OQRS. Website here.
