Comments: Albarracin is a National Monument since 1961 and is proposed to be declared a Unesco World Heritage Site by the beauty and importance of their heritage. The town is perched on a rock and surrounded by the Guadalaviar. On this side and facing the river are built the hanging houses. Within the town the streets are steep and narrow, with very picturesque corner. The construction offers original architecture very popular with the forging of the province in addition to the characteristic reddish color called rodeno.
