Comments: The church of Santa Maria, located in Dr. Tortosa street, is from the XVI century, of Renaissance style and strong plateresque inspiration. In its building participated Esteban Jamet de Orleans, to whom it´s attributed the famous "arch of Jamete" of the cathedral of Cuenca. Inside there are several baroque chapels, the chorus that is attributed to Martin de Aldehuela, a renaissance font and above it a baroque polychromatic pavilion. The altarpiece is dated in 1574, of plateresque style, the same than the apse and the main front.
