Update May 18: QSL Desk @ Friedrichshafen HamFest 2019

With the collaboration of the European DX Foundation (www.eudxf.de) of which I am proud member, I will be available to confirm the QSOs made by Niue personally on Sunday 23 June at the EUDXF stand.

I will have a limited amount of QSL with me, however, useful to satisfy the requests.

Unfortunately I will not be able to sample the labels on the spot but I will have to write every QSL for each QSO that will be verified together by the log.

It will also be a good opportunity to join our Foundation by paying, for those interested, a small annual contribution.

5B4ALX - Alex

Update Mar,18: E6ET will now be 2 operators with 3 stations. Tim NL8F joins Alex 5B4ALX. They met up at Auckland airport and travel to Niue next. Alex says he will operate SO2R and Tim will set up a third station. Between them they have over 120kg of equipment (which may yet cause some issues on the Auckland-Niue flight).

Update Mar,12: Suggested frequencies are: CW - 1818, 7008, 10106, 14010, 18065, 21012 and 28022 kHz SSB - 7120, 14285, 18136, 21285 and 28470 kHz RTTY - 7055, 10140, 14080, 18106, 21090 and 28070 kHz FT8 - 1842/1908, 5358, 7055, 10140, 18106, 21090, 28070 and 50300 kHz * More details (suggested time/modes/bands/FT8) available on the Web page. He will also be in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest (March 30-31st) as a Single- Op/Single-Band (20m)/Low-Power entry. QSL via 5B4ALX, ClubLog's OQRS or LoTW. For more details and updates, see: http://www.5b4alx.cloud/e6et-niue-2019 WARNING (From Alex): During my DXpedition I always have a notepad and a pen next to me; those who think to work the DXpedition from remote stations in other continents with the intent to take advantage of it without specifying the real prefix/homecall will be marked, logged and then I will delete any QSO in my log from that station, even if some were lawful. I’m smart enough to understand when a station calls remotely and properly enough not to allow anyone to be clever at the expense of others. If you care about your QSOs in the log, avoid using remote stations !!

Update Feb,27: Two weeks now separate me from the starte of this new DXpedition from the Pacific. I wanted to thank all the operators to whom I have sent emails about my activities in these months hoping not to have bothered you. Donors will receive a further confidential email with frequency plan, schedules and band changes next week. For 16 days I will be active from the South Pacific in a Single Operator 2 Radio configuration hoping to have most of you in my log. I will be present at the International Fair in Italy in Montichiari on March 9th and 10th, just before my departure to pick up a RTX sponsored by an Italian store and then at the Friedrichshafen International Fair in Germany in June. If any of you want to support me during these last days before purchasing the extra baggage allowance, every donation is always welcome. 5B4ALX - Alex

Alex, 5B4ALX will be active as E6ET from Niue (OC-040) from 18 March to 2 April. He will operate SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8 on 160, 60, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 10 and 6 metres, and will participate in the CQ WPX SSB Contest (SOSB 20m LP). E6ET will operate FT8 using a multi answer protocol (not to be confused with the "Fox & Hound" mode), with a focus on 20m during his day and 40/60m during his night (7-17 UTC). QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, or via IZ4AMS (direct or bureau).
